Growing Confident Learners Through Faith and Excellence

At Holy Infancy School, our Elementary Program (Grades 3–5) builds upon the academic and spiritual foundation developed in the primary years. Rooted in our Catholic mission, we nurture students as they grow in knowledge, faith, character, and confidence.

During these formative years, students transition from learning to read to reading to learn, strengthening skills in literacy, writing, mathematics, science, social studies, and religion. Through engaging, hands-on instruction, students develop critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Students expand their knowledge through real-world learning experiences, technology, and enrichment opportunities including Art, Music, Spanish, Physical Education, Library & Media, Computer Technology, STEAM, 1:1 technology, Smart Boards, zSpace Augmented & Virtual Reality, and the Lü Interactive Playground.

By the end of Grade 5, students are confident learners and compassionate leaders, prepared for success in middle school and beyond.

Elementary Curriculum

  • Religion: Catholic faith formation through the Christ Our Life curriculum and FORMED, supporting students’ spiritual growth and understanding of their faith.

  • Reading, Writing & English Language Arts: A comprehensive literacy program using HMH Into Reading, Voyages in English, Freckle by Renaissance, and IXL to strengthen reading comprehension, writing skills, grammar, and communication.

  • Social Studies: Engaging students in the study of communities, cultures, history, and the world through Impact Social Studies and Discovery Education.

 

Curriculum Highlights

  • Mathematics: A rigorous math program using Reveal Math K–8, enhanced with Generation Genius and IXL to build problem-solving skills, mathematical reasoning, and confidence.
  • Science: Hands-on, inquiry-based learning through Generation Genius, Discovery Education, and IXL, encouraging students to explore scientific concepts, investigate the world around them, and apply their knowledge through real-world connections.
