Elementary School 3-5
Rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition, Holy Infancy School supports the growth of our elementary students in both knowledge and faith. In the elementary years, the curricular program shifts focus from the development of the essential skills learned in primary school to an emphasis on the application of skills. Students at this level begin to transition from learning to read to reading to learn. With a more expanded vocabulary, students use their imaginations to write creatively. Students learn the conventions of the English language through a comprehensive grammar program and perfect their cursive handwriting. The elementary curriculum encourages students to acquire a deeper understanding of global and local communities as well as apply their knowledge of energy and natural Earth processes.
Students in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade receive instruction in religion, integrated language arts and reading, handwriting, math, science, and social studies. The following is a list of some curriculum text resources.
